Specializing in HandbagsMy passion for creativity began with the influence of my grandmother. Emigrating from Ukraine at the age of fifteen, she arrived in Philadelphia, finding work in a sewing factory. As a child, I would wait anxiously for her to arrive home from her job with scraps of fabric. She taught me the basics of sewing as we sat for hours designing and making doll clothes.
During the hectic time of my business career and raising children, I studied photography and painting. Time was precious and I found myself torn between photographing my flowers, oil painting and the deep desire to sew. I wanted to do it all! In 2001 I retired from my business career to pursue my creative interests.
I believe that a handbag should not be limited to storing and organizing necessary items. As you choose a beautiful wardrobe to reflect your personal style, it is important to remember that the handbag you carry is an essential accessory. Using fine fabrics, creative embellishments, and unique textures, I personally design and create each handbag. Customers may choose from my inventory or we can design a handbag together.
