Artist Statement

Working in mixed media,oil, oil stick, graphite, ink, and gouache, I paint the local landscape using my minds eye. Influenced by the psychology and atmosphere of the day I bring to each piece my vision while surrendering wholly to the creative process. The relationship of man and the landscape an interconnectedness. Personally experiencing simple reverence of that which is greater in all bounds. The vibrant energy of color creates a portal into the limitless creative process.
