Artist Statement

I have been working in glass for more than 25 years, fusing, casting and bead making. I was a resident artist at Glen Echo National Park for twelve years before moving to Lewes, De. I maintain an off site studio for fusing and a home studio for bead making. Currently, I am concentrating more on making venetian style glass beads at the lamp working torch. Most of the beads are fashioned into necklaces, bracelets and pendents. I love the Zen like concentration required when working with fire, as well as the limitless possibilites when combining colors to decorate each small creation.
