As a year round artist my work is available for viewing at my home studio by appointment.

I have been a Delaware resident for 20 years. Born and raised in Cape May, New Jersey I spent 23 years on the Atlantic Ocean as a commercial, deep-sea scallop fisherman where I developed an intense passion for the sea and the beauty that nature holds. In 1994, I started out making murals using scallop shells. As a self-taught artist and with a vast collection of seashells and natural fossils, I was inspired to use my creativity and expand into a touchable and multi-dimensional art form with the making of custom decorative tiles that are also functional works of art, named Sea Tiles.
My tiles capture the beautiful colors and wonderful shapes in nature. Design themes include botanical scenes, birds, dragonflies and insects, flowerpots and underwater scenes. They can range in size from 4 ¼" x 8 ½" to 3' square and larger, framed or unframed, and are ¼" up to ¾" in thickness and metal reinforced. They may be used as a standard wall tile providing a unique decorative feature to any space.
Sea Tiles are made by hand with over a 40-step process with real hand cut seashells and fossils from around the world. Each tile is handset in a proprietary aggregate mixture and all shells with a void are filled with this mixture to prevent cracking or dislodging. No glue or paint is applied to any tile; some shells are naturally dyed for effect. All tiles project a natural sand appearance and the shells create depth and light reflecting details.
Custom designs are available and commissioned works can be created for commercial and private clients.
