Artist Statement

Eul Lee started her journey in crafts in high school when she first learned to crochet. Nights before mid/final exams were spent crocheting fun things for her younger sister. While creating her own uniquely designed items, mostly hats, Eul found crocheting was the only way to calm herself down during the stressful periods.

Years later, Eul found herself with a few rubber stamps, and started blossoming as a crafter/artist living her childhood, which she never had.

Today, Eul works with fiber, beads, and papers, or any recyclable things she comes across. Her works can be seen at Rehoboth Art League.

Eul currently teaches crochet and greeting card making at Michaels Store in Rehoboth Beach. Eul's aim in teaching beginner and advanced crocheters is to help them become designers of their own projects.

Eul's greeting cards are usually customized to the recepients' interests, often with some moving parts in them.

Some of her cards carry special messages from Eul, such as 'Holiday Greetings from WTC-ville.' The series of these WTC-ville greeting cards started after 9/11 with an intention to commemorate and pass down the event to the next generations, and to promote peace.
