Artist Statement

Remember your grandmother's chenille bedspread? Or the white linen embroidered tablecloth used for holidays when you were a child?

Maybe you recall that floral printed tablecloth (gently faded from years near a sunny window) that was on your kitchen table when you were growing up.

I use vintage linens from yesterday to create one-of-a-kind pillows for you to enjoy today. Each pillow is stitched completely by hand utilizing all vintage materials or a combination of new and vintage materials. With their distinct texture and richness, vintage linens and fabrics are perfect for making decorative accents for the home. Some linens feature embroidery or cutwork and were used on formal occasions while others were used day-to-day in the childhood homes of our parents and grandparents.

Each pillow is a unique creation allowing the linens that have been treasured and used for generations to be enjoyed in a new way in our homes today.
